I'm currently in Peninsular Malaysia... Part 1

Hello people.... (^_^)

I'm currently in Peninsular Malaysia. I'm doing my short attachment with Tampin Hospital, Negeri sembilan with my other 5 friends, 3 from Sabah & 2 from Negeri Sembilan. We are very grateful to our friend, Eaan for inviting us to stay in her house while we are here..

Today is Wednesday and this is the second week we are here... Compare to streamyx, my broadband is much slower and hence I have trouble updating my blog... I could not upload pictures in one go... Below are picture for our first 2 days...

On the air... Flying to our destination...

My orange juice... asam~~

My other 3 Sabahan friends..

The following day we followed our friend to Melaka big city... She was actually sending her cousin to the bus terminal..

Then we had a short walk at the historical site of Melaka... we went to A'Famosa and plan to have another visit this Saturday with our friend who is coming this Saturday...

Just having fun with the violin ~~

Then, we went to a shopping mall named Dataran Pahlawan located just next to the A'Famosa..

A beautiful water fountain inside Dataran Pahlawan...

We had our lunch here ~ Sizzling Stonegrill

My Chicken Chop on the hot rock...
My food + my drink = Rm18.90... hmmmm
We didn't want to waste anything

People Get Ready

People get ready
There's a train a-coming
You don't need no baggage
You just get on board
All you need is faith
To hear diesels humming
You don't need no ticket
You just thank the Lord

People get ready
For the train to Jordan
Picking up passengers
From coast to coast
Faith is the key
Open the doors and board them
There's room for all
Among the loved and lost

Now there ain't no room
For the hopeless sinner
Who's hard on mankind
Just to save his own (beleive me now)
Have pity on those
Whose chances are thinner
Cause there's no hiding place
From the Kingdom's Throne

So people get ready
There's a train a-coming
You don't need no baggage
You just get on board
All you need is faith
To hear diesels a- humming
You don't need no ticket
You just thank the Lord

Learning Kadazan Language ~ Vol 1

We, Kadazan people, native people of Sabah, Borneo have a huge crisis with our own mother tongue... As English has become more important these recent years, many parents are teaching their children to speak English at home instead of the language they've inherited from their ancestors... It is sad to see how we are forgetting our root...

Truthfully, I, myself are also poor in this language.. My basic aren't strong enough... I am still learning... What we are going to learn together are things that I've learned from people who are good in this language... Don't worry, I'll only teach you the right things...

:)

Let's start with the greetings~~

Kopivosian doid diau: Good health to you
Kopivosian do doungosuvab: Good morning
Kopivosian do minsosodop: Good evening
Kotobian doid diau: Greetings to you

Nomboo ongozon nu?: Where are you going?
Nunu mangan nu?: What are you doing?
Poingkuo ko no?: How are you?
Avasi': I'm fine.
Ounsikou zou do nokosoomo diau: I'm glad to have met you.
Mindad po do toluu'ai: Wait a moment.

We'll learn other things next time... Until we meet again... :o)

I Could Have Dance All Night

I could have dance all night!

I could have dance all night!

& still have begged for more.

I could have spread my wings

& done a thousands things

I've never done before.

I'll never know what makes it so exciting.

Why all at once my heart took flight.

I only know when he

began to dance with me.

I could have dance, dance, dance all night...
